This season at Rapunzel & Croft, we are looking back at the history of Halloween. Originally derived from Pagan / Wiccan rituals and beliefs, the Dark Fairytales collection celebrates the mysticism of All Hallows Eve. This mini collection is available Sunday October 3, 2021 at 6pm PDT.
A pagan practice that celebrates the Autumn Solstice and the thinning of the veil between living and dead, magic, faery and lore. Understandably, the commercial version we have today is a lot of ghosts, ghouls, pumpkins, cats, witches; which all celebrate Halloween.
However we wanted to look a little further back for inspiration and hopefully provide you with pieces that are both beautiful, mystical and captures a semblance of Hallows Eve in Pagan traditions.
